For being a natural it definitely works! I will say I’m using the luminous toothpaste and mouthwash but I’m on 5th treatment and I see a huge difference. Former smoker and I’m a coffee drinker. I was looking for something to do the work of something close to the dentist that was going to charge 500$ I will how often I need to do the strips. Over all I’m happy and best of all it’s natural. It’s a thick film on your teeth afterwards just brush of some with brush if you can’t stand it.
Prior to discovering Lumineux, I would try Crest whitening strips every year, but I would always forget how sensitive they made my teeth. As a result, I could never use more than three strips before the pain became unbearable. However, I have found the Lumineux strips to be highly effective. I was able to use the entire box without experiencing any pain. Although I initially purchased a small box to test the product, I plan to buy the larger box since it has proven to be successful in whitening my teeth without causing discomfort.
You want your teeth as dry as possible prior to applying strips. I use a dry wash cloth. And then once I apply one strip, I use the dry wash cloth again for the other arch. You salivate more when something is in your mouth. To alleviate shifting, use a dry cloth after each strip is applied. This will reduce movement for those 30 minutes. Once it's on and adhered to the teeth, it's fine. No weird taste. I have very sensitive teeth. I've done professional whitening, and had to stop half way through due to pain. I've done Crest white strips, those make my teeth sensitive after two applications. I'm on my third application now and had minor discomfort after the second application. Waited a day to do my third. No discomfort from sensitivity. Get an extra toothbrush. You'll want to use a separate toothbrush from your own to brush/rinse your mouth after removing the strips. It leaves a gel-like substance across your teeth. Very uncomfortable. Extremely sticky. You aren't supposed to drink/eat for 30 min after removal, but there is no way I can leave that gel in my mouth. It's gross. That's the only negativity that bothers me. It's icky. It is lightening my teeth. I have coffee and wine stains.
