I am in my late 40s and struggle with makeup settling into the fine lines under my eyes. I've been using another brand's undereye primer for years but it was recently discontinued.I purchased this Power Grip Primer with niacinamide by mistake - my skin has reacted badly to several products with niacinamide. Since this was a lower concentration and I only needed it under my eyes, I decided to give it a shot anyway. Not only does it keep my make-up set in place for hours but after a month of using it, I noticed the enlarged oil glands under my eyes have shrunk - A LOT. I've always hated the bumpy texture and was considering expensive laser resurfacing. I can't believe how much better this area looks now!Since I haven't reacted to this formula, I am trying it on my cheeks and nose, where I also have enlarged oil gland. Crossing fingers I get the same results!
because this has niacinamide in it, it is very good for people with oily skin so I definitely recommend and it makes your skin so tacky so the make up last very long. I think the red elf better than the blue one
I have been searching for years for something to help my liquid foundation stay all day on my oily skin. Most primers I have tried seem to make shine appear sooner than if I had only used the foundation. The instructions say to apply this to clean, dry skin and wait 30 seconds or so before adding another product.I did try that method but discovered that I can mix a pump of the primer with a pump of my foundation on the back of my hand, then apply to my face. This seems to work better than anything else for giving me lasting foundation with minimal shine, when using setting powder as the final step in makeup routine.
